PopMan is a free manager and notifier for POP3 email accounts. You can use it to list all the emails you receive in your inbox (if you have a POP3 server) without needing to completely load all your emails one by one.
The emails that you don´t like or that correspond to publicity can be deleted directly from the server, without letting them acces your PC, with the security that this brings.
You can employ PopMan to check your email accounts in the background. When you receive new messages, it will send you notification. You can also download the emails you receive to your hard drive, selectively. You don´t need to download them all at once.
